Basketball Game Preview: Sun Valley Community Cutthroats vs. Valley Vikings + How To Watch

The Sun Valley Community Cutthroats will take on the Valley Vikings in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Sun Valley Community didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Castleford, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cutthroats.

Sun Valley Community relied on the efforts of Liam Ammons, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards, and Johnny Boccabella, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. Marley Shapiro was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Valley didn't have too much trouble with Hagerman on Thursday as they won 43-26.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Sun Valley Community, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Sun Valley Community was dealt a bruising 79-24 defeat at the hands of Valley in their previous meeting back in February. Can the Cutthroats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
