Softball Recap: ALA - West Foothills Guardians vs. Gilbert Christian Knights
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask ALA - West Foothills). They were the clear victor by a 20-2 margin over the Gilbert Christian Knights on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Guardians, who have now won three matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Ava LaHair made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. LaHair was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
