Baseball Recap: Sonora Comes Up Short

Sonora lost against Ripon last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sonora lost 10-3 to Ripon. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sonora saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Sutton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Sonora's record now sits at 2-11. As for Ripon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sonora will face off against Hughson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hughson will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Sonora surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ripon, they will challenge Ripon Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ripon is facing Ripon Christian at the right time seeing as Ripon Christian is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
