Basketball Game Preview: Fleming Wildcats vs. Holyoke Dragons + How To Watch

The Fleming Wildcats will square off against the Holyoke Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fleming challenged Sedgwick County on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Despite the defeat, Fleming got top-tier performance from Brooke Schaefer, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. Schaefer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ciana Lousberg, who posted ten points along with seven boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Holyoke earned a 37-29 win over Brush on Tuesday.

Holyoke's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Fleming, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Fleming strolled past Holyoke when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 49-32. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
