Recap: St. Martinville Tigers vs. Southern Lab Kittens
If the St. Martinville Tigers were feeling good off their 70-47 takedown of the Opelousas Tigers on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. St. Martinville fell 53-43 to Southern Lab on Saturday.
When it comes to explaining why St. Martinville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Raytyrion Narcisse. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Jones, who scored 7 points.
St. Martinville's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Southern Lab, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
St. Martinville is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Comeaux at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Southern Lab will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on White Castle at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (White Castle is ranked 123rd, while Southern Lab is ranked 134th).
