The McDowell Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the General McLane Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McDowell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.

McDowell is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Taylor Allderdice on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. McDowell's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Alexander Wood, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, General McLane didn't have quite enough to beat Warren on Wednesday and fell 3-2. Gus Brasington was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

General McLane's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for McDowell, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
