Soccer Game Preview: Fluvanna County vs. Louisa County

The Fluvanna County Flying Flucos will take on the Louisa County Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fluvanna County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fluvanna County managed to keep up with Orange County until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Flying Flucos came up short against the Fighting Hornets, falling 8-1.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 goals the game before, Louisa County was a bit more limited in their matchup last Thursday. They lost 7-0 to Monticello. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Monticello are ranked 39th).

Fluvanna County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Louisa County, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
