Baseball Preview: Sherrard Tigers vs. Hall Red Devils

The Sherrard Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Hall Red Devils at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sherrard is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Sherrard not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 30th (when they won 20-5). They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Mercer County. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

In other batting news, Gavin Cottrell was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Barrett Kincaid, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Sherrard's record is now 5-9. As for Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-1.
