Basketball Recap: Utah School for the Deaf & Blind Eagles vs. Telos
Utah School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Telos, falling 83-33. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-31 back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Telos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacobb Prussman, who posted 12 points and eight boards. The dominant performance also gave Prussman a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Garrett Plott, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Utah School for the Deaf & Blind's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Telos, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Utah School for the Deaf & Blind will venture away from home to take on Dugway at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Telos, they will face off against Mount Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Telos has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 202 points over their last three matches.
