Softball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

Crestwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-4 to the Lakewood Gators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 15-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Zaire Ransom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Ja'Miesauna Montgomery was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lakewood, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Crestwood will be playing at home against South Florence on Thursday. South Florence will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Crestwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lakewood, they will host Manning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
