Soccer Recap: Pittsburg Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pittsburg proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by eight) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Chanute Blue Comets 2-1. While Pittsburg didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-9-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Elmer Rodriguez Morales and Luke Moss scored both of Pittsburg's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

The win (which was Pittsburg's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matchups. As for Chanute, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
