Volleyball Recap: Albemarle School Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Albemarle School had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Northeastern Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While Albemarle School was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Northeastern's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-23.

The victory got Northeastern back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Albemarle School will take on Cape Hatteras at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Northeastern, they will square off against Holmes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
