Paydon Rinkol Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Twin River got the W thanks in part to Paydon Rinkol playing the best football he has all season. Rinkol rushed for 289 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 18.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 146 or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Madison, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rinkol. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Rinkol saw the Dragons), he rushed for 257 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.
