Baseball Recap: Clyde-Savannah Gets the Win

While Clyde-Savannah's victory against Red Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Rams on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.

Max Waldron was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Clyde-Savannah's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 3-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Dain Brisky, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Clyde-Savannah's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Red Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Clyde-Savannah nor Red Creek have any future games scheduled.
