Lab University Christian Academy Regional's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats as they made off with an 84-61 win.

Sugar Creek Charter's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Derek Thomas, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 19 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Corde Harrison, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 16 points.

The victory got Lab University Christian Academy Regional back to even at 2-2. As for Sugar Creek Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Lab University Christian Academy Regional didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-66 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 29th. As for Sugar Creek Charter, they will square off against Carolina International at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
