Volleyball Recap: Germantown Red Devils vs. White Station Spartans

Germantown and White Station squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Germantown had to settle for second. They fell just short of the White Station Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.

Germantown took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 15-7.

White Station found their leader in underclassman Annabel Tillman, who had nine digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Tillman a new career-high.

This is the second loss in a row for Germantown and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for White Station, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Germantown nor White Station have any future games scheduled.
