Baseball Recap: Elmwood Royals vs. Otsego Knights
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Elmwood and Otsego meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Royals fell 5-1 to the Knights. The matchup marked the Royals' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
Zackery Gross was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Peyton Schafer also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
Elmwood's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Otsego, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.
