After a string of four wins, Newton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Indianola Indians. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Indians when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Newton's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Indianola, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newton will head out to challenge Pella Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Indianola and Dallas Center-Grimes will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
