Volleyball Recap: Warren Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Warren entered their tilt with Alexander on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

While Warren won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-22.

Warren found their leader in sophomore Remi Elzey, who had 11 digs. Those 11 digs set a new season-high mark for Elzey.

Warren was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Alexander, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Warren is taking a road trip to take on Meigs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Alexander, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Wellston at 6:30 p.m. The Spartans are facing the Golden Rockets at the right time seeing as the Golden Rockets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
