Monett waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Forsyth Panthers. The Cubs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-15.

Monett got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylee Holloway out in front who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Holloway has posted over her last 13 matchups.

Holloway wasn't the only good servers: Monett was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Monett's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-2. As for Forsyth, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12-2.

Monett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cassville on the 30th. As for Forsyth, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Clever on the 30th.
