Volleyball Recap: Friday's Win Is Gallatin's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Gallatin won the last time they faced Springfield and things went their way on Friday too. The Green Wave walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Yellow Jackets.

Molly Rooks paced Gallatin's offense, picking up seven kills. Rooks got some help from Gracie Hibdon and her 11 assists. Hibdon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Chloe Wix, racking up two apiece.

Gallatin is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Gallatin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Grace Christian Academy on the 20th. As for Springfield, they will challenge Clarksville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
