Basketball Game Preview: American Heritage Patriots vs. Fort Lauderdale Flying L's

Having just played yesterday, the American Heritage Patriots will jump right back in to play the Fort Lauderdale Flying L at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. American Heritage is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

American Heritage's tournament run continued when they took on Cooper City on Friday. American Heritage came out on top against Cooper City by a score of 53-44.

Meanwhile, Fort Lauderdale ended up a good deal behind Cardinal Gibbons on Friday and lost 80-66. The Flying L's haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

American Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for Fort Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Everything came up roses for American Heritage against Fort Lauderdale in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, as the squad secured a 94-67 victory.
