Basketball Recap: L'anse Creuse's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

L'Anse Creuse had lost five straight headed into Thursday's game, but Allison Tuladziecki didn't let it get to six. The L'Anse Creuse Lancers blew past the New Haven Rockets 48-19 on Thursday for which the team can thank Tuladziecki, who went 6-for-13 en route to 16 points and five steals. What's more, she also posted a 46% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Alexa Maracle, who posted five points along with six rebounds and four steals. She has become a key player for L'Anse Creuse: the team is 3-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 3-15 otherwise.

L'Anse Creuse's victory bumped their record up to 6-16. As for New Haven, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. L'Anse Creuse will look to defend their home court on Monday against Dakota at 5:30 p.m. Dakota has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for New Haven, they will face off against Sandusky at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandusky will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something New Haven surely won't give up without a fight.
