It was fun while it lasted, but McDonogh 35's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They came up short against the Tara Trojans, falling 11-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roneagles of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Jakam Glinn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Having lost for the first time this season, McDonogh 35 fell to 3-1. As for Tara, their record now sits at 6-2.

McDonogh 35 wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 19-1 victory against Abramson on the 11th. As for Tara, they have also already played their next game, a 16-0 win against Donaldsonville on the 12th.
