Preview: Lapel vs. Shenandoah

Lapel and Shenandoah take on one another this Friday at 7:00 PM on Lapel's home turf. Shenandoah will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Lapel defense that has allowed an average of 29.33 points per game.

Lapel battled it out with Adams Central last week for a well-earned 34 - 33 overtime win. Senior quarterback Levi Frazier had a wowing 408 passing yards in the victory. Frazier has been a consistent playmaker for Lapel as this was the 3rd good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, last game was the first rocky defensive outing for Shenandoah this year. Last week it came up short against Centerville, falling 41 - 27. All the same, giving senior running back Joe Huff more carries than the previous game paid off since he ran for 107 yards and punched in two touchdowns. Huff has been the ringleader for Shenandoah this season two times now.

Shenandoah's defeat and Lapel's win put them both at 2-1. We'll find out if Shenandoah can steal Lapel's luck or if Lapel records another victory instead.
