Volleyball Recap: Choctaw Central Has No Trouble Against Quitman

Choctaw Central had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Quitman on Tuesday. The Warriors blew past the Panthers 3-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Choctaw Central was: they took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-10, 25-10.

Choctaw Central's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Quitman, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Choctaw Central will welcome Newton County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Quitman, they will square off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
