Mount St. Mary came tearing into Thursday's game with 26 straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Jenks Trojans with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rockets also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mount St. Mary was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

Isabella Williams paced Mount St. Mary's offense, picking up 14 kills. Williams got some help from Jentri Denwalt and her 33 assists. Anna Spurlock controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Mount St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Jenks, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Mount St. Mary wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Broken Arrow on the 15th. As for Jenks, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Charles Page at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
