Avon strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the East Catholic Eagles as they made off with a 15-1 victory. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 16-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Avon's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for East Catholic, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Avon will venture away from home to face off against Windsor Locks at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for East Catholic, they are taking a road trip to challenge Manchester at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.75 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
