Basketball Game Preview: Trinity at Meadow View Tempest vs. Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers

The Trinity at Meadow View Tempest will venture away from home to square off against the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity at Meadow View is looking for their season's first victory.

Trinity at Meadow View saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 54-43 to Christ Chapel Academy.

Despite the loss, Trinity at Meadow View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Peacock dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Peacock is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Friddle, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Georgetown Day didn't have quite enough to beat Trinity Christian on Friday and fell 51-48.

Trinity at Meadow View's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Georgetown Day, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
