Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Steele). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the North Olmsted Eagles  a   15-0 shutout  on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Freyja Survance was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Nevaeh Sadler was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Steele  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Olmsted only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Steele pushed their record up to 12-3 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Olmsted,  with the  loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-8.
 Steele wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  5-2  defeat against Perrysburg on the 26th. North Olmsted has also already played their next  game (against Lutheran West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
