There's no place like home for Humboldt, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Newell-Fonda Mustangs 3-2 on Thursday.

Humboldt pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Newell-Fonda, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
