Volleyball Recap: Claremont Find Success

Claremont picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Corona Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolfpack.

Their offense was headlined by Abby Leeper and Tatum Longyear, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Rylan Vlasich and her 20 assists. Chloe Leeper and Peyton Natividad kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Claremont's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Corona, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Claremont will square off against Ayala at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Corona, they will challenge Norco at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
