Basketball Recap: Clint Lions vs. Riverside Rangers
Clint lost against Riverside on January 10th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clint Lions were dealt a 66-31 loss at the hands of the Riverside Rangers. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-10.
Defeat or not, Clint got some senior leadership from Davana Carrasco and Anabella Portillo. Carrasco posted nine points and eight boards, while Portillo scored seven points and seven rebounds.
Even though they lost, Clint smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
