North Duplin waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Union Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Maggie Brown paced North Duplin's offense, picking up ten kills. Brown got some help from Lilly Fulghum and her ten assists. Fulghum was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

North Duplin's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Union, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, North Duplin will be playing in front of their home fans against East Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Union, they will face off against Lakewood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
