Volleyball Recap: Suffern Takes a Loss

Suffern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Jay Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-7, 18-25, 25-11.

Suffern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for John Jay, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Suffern and John Jay will both be playing Ketcham the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Mounties will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
