Softball Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

Cedar Creek managed to slip by Ocean City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates lost 10-2 to the Raiders on Wednesday. The loss leaves the Pirates still looking for their first win of the season.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Ocean City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Cedar Creek is taking a road trip to square off against Vineland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ocean City, they will take on Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
