Basketball Game Preview: King's Academy Lions vs. Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors

The King's Academy Lions will head out to challenge the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with King's Academy sitting on three straight victories and Christian Academy of Knoxville on 11.

Last Tuesday, King's Academy strolled past Providence Academy with points to spare, taking the game 69-54.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Academy of Knoxville). They claimed a resounding 90-34 win over Apostolic Christian Academy. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

King's Academy now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, their victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-2.

King's Academy came up short against Christian Academy of Knoxville in their previous matchup back in January, falling 64-54. Can King's Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
