Faribault is 8-2 against Red Wing since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the Wingers at 5:00 p.m. Faribault's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three contests, but Thursday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.

Faribault fell victim to Mankato West and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 23-0 to the Scarlets.

Meanwhile, Red Wing came up short against Mayo on Tuesday, falling 12-6.

Isabella Guetzlaff made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Camryn Zotalis, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Red Wing's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Faribault, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Faribault's way against Red Wing in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Faribault made off with a 9-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
