Sachse is 7-2 against Wylie East since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raiders at 5:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Sachse didn't have quite enough to beat Naaman Forest and fell 3-2.

Sachse was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Naaman Forest work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 24-26, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Wylie East entered their tilt with Garland on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Owls. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since August 30th.

Wylie East was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 24-26, 25-16, 20-18.

Sachse's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Wylie East, their win bumped their record up to 13-16.

Sachse took their victory against Wylie East in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
