Softball Recap: South Aiken Takes a Loss

South Aiken was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-0 to the Gilbert Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thoroughbreds of the 10-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2020.

South Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Gilbert, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

While South Aiken had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
