Hampton is 8-2 against South Greene since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hampton Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the South Greene Rebels at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Hampton was able to grind out a solid victory over Chuckey-Doak, taking the game 59-51. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Black Knights are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Greene strolled past Johnson County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 80-66.

Hampton has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for South Greene, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.

Hampton strolled past South Greene in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 71-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hampton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
