Front Range Christian had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-6 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Fountain Valley Danes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.
Lily Cameron paced Front Range Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Cameron really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. Aubrey Deich controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
As for Fountain Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. They haven't had much luck with Front Range Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Fountain Valley lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ainsley Joseph, who had 13 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Llewelyn, who had eight digs.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Front Range Christian will challenge Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fountain Valley, they will face off against Hanover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
