Baseball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights lost against Centralia back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 17-1 to the Panthers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Heights saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mack Shanks, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Valley Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Centralia, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat Valley Heights by a score of 18-4 later that day.
