Baseball Recap: Clear Lake Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Clear Lake was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Webster City Lynx, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Clear Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Webster City, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Clear Lake beat the Lynx by a score of 4-2 later that day.
