With a playoff win on the line, San Juan rose to the challenge  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Milford Tigers as they made off with  a  10-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 11 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Elizabeth Palmer was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Miley Harrison was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
San Juan is  on a roll lately: they've  won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-15 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Milford,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 19-10.
 San Juan didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  5-2  victory against Gunnison Valley on the 8th. Milford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
