Baseball Recap: Taft Beats Delano for Their Third Straight Victory

Taft waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Delano Tigers as they made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Wildcats have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Dylan Clark was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blayne Farkas, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Taft's record is now 10-13. As for Delano, they dropped their record down to 7-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Taft beat the Tigers by a score of 12-4 on Thursday.
