For the first time this season, Trinity Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to face off against Grapevine Faith Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Trinity Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.

Jet Naegele had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 50% from the field on his way to 29 points and six boards. Those 29 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was John Cooper, who went 6-for-10 en route to 12 points.

Meanwhile, Grapevine Faith Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-68 heartbreaker at the hands of Richland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (59), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.

Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against Grapevine Faith Christian in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 92-59 victory. In that matchup, Trinity Christian amassed a halftime lead of 46-22, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
