Recap: Patrick Henry Patriots vs. Swanton Bulldogs
The Patrick Henry Patriots can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 62-21 win over Swanton. With that win, Patrick Henry brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Patrick Henry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ada Christman out in front who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Christman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Weber, who scored 16 points.
Swanton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Crow, who scored eight points.
Patrick Henry is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Swanton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will take on the Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wauseon will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Swanton, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Defiance comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
