Basketball Recap: Regent Prep Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Regent Prep and Lincoln Christian have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. Regent Prep was dealt a 74-32 loss at the hands of Lincoln Christian. The contest marked Regent Prep's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Regent Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lincoln Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Regent Prep will head out to take on Mingo Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Sequoyah at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th.
