Baseball Recap: Barron Collier Wins Going Away Against Lely

Barron Collier got themselves on the board against Lely on Friday, but Lely never followed suit. They blew past the Lely Trojans 16-0. Considering the Cougars have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alan Overmyer was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Barron Collier got a big performance out of Brody Graham, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Carson Felts, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one double.
